A:  TRUE. It's Bootcamp, Not a Tea Party!


Rain or shine, we're out there. Why? Because battling the elements adds that extra spice to our already hellishly fun workouts. Imagine doing push-ups as the rain kisses your face, or holding a plank as the breeze challenges your balance. And yes, if it's snowing, get ready to channel your inner child with snow angels or some sneaker skating—partner in tow, holding onto your coat tails for dear life.


But Wait, There's a Twist!

We're as hardcore about fitness as we are about safety. So, when Mother Nature throws a tantrum with lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes (you know, the usual suspects), we switch gears. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology and a little thing called adaptation, we've gone HYBRID. Severe weather? No problem. Yes, we're talking a 9-page Health History, PAR-Q & Waiver Form extravaganza where you metaphorically sign your life away (all in the name of health and safety, of course). These forms will make their grand entrance in your welcome letter upon registration.

Crack open the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and give those questions your undivided attention. If you find yourself nodding "YES" to two or more, it's time to chat with your doc for a green light.

All these thrilling forms? They're your ticket to the bootcamp bonanza. Mandatory, non-optional, absolutely essential—call it what you will, but fill 'em out, and let's get this fitness party started.

Q: What’s the dress code for becoming a bootcamp badass and what gear do I haul?

 A:  Gear Up for Glory!


Suit Up, Warrior-Style: Dress for success, bootcamp edition. That means clothes that can take a hit, because you're going to get down and dirty. Choose comfort that hugs your battle-ready bod just right, tailored for the season’s mood. Snow, rain, or shine, we’re out there, and so is your wardrobe.


Foot Soldiers Need Solid Kicks: Good sneakers are your ground troops; make sure they’re ready for action. They’ll carry you through sprints, squats, and those sneaky burpees our trainers love so much.


Hand Armor: Gloves, preferably fingerless, aren’t just a fashion statement—they’re your shield. Protect those palms as you conquer the concrete, the grass, and everything in between.


Bring the Essentials: Resistance & Mini Bands (snag yours right here) are your trusty sidekicks. Don’t forget your hydration source—water or a sports drink—to quench the thirst of victory. And the most crucial of all? A positive attitude and a smile that says, “I’m here to crush it.”

Q: What can I expect from a bootcamp class?

 A:  Evolve Bootcamp Outdoor Classes feature highly crafted workouts that  offer an engaging variety of movements and opportunities for skill  development. Each day brings a fresh and FUN workout that kicks off with  a warm-up, followed by dynamic stretching to prepare your body for the  workout ahead. This approach ensures safety and minimizes the risk of  injury, making it an integral part of our fitness philosophy at Evolve  Bootcamp. 


 

In our sessions, attention is given to specific muscle groups to ensure a comprehensive fitness experience. However, for optimal results, anticipate a full-body workout designed for total body toning. This includes exercises with medicine balls, resistance bands, undulating ropes, kettlebells, and your own body weight—as well as sometimes leveraging the weight of a partner.


Expect to engage in high-energy relay races, heart-pumping cardio respiratory drills, interval-based calisthenics, obstacle courses, circuit training, and plyometrics. These activities are meticulously planned to decrease body fat while enhancing speed, agility, coordination, and stamina.


Each session concludes with a strong finish: Yoga-based cool downs that focus on core strength and flexibility. But beyond the physical benefits, the true value of our classes lies in the community. You'll be surrounded by supportive fellow participants and a coach dedicated to motivating and inspiring you.
